John Giaccone received a Bachelors degree in
communication arts from the New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) with a major in film and television. Relocating to Los Angeles, he
began working in the industry as a production assistant working on television programs (from “made for TV” movies and commercials to The Grammy’s
and MTV Video Music Awards) in various departments. He also studied acting in Los Angeles,
landing parts in student films, commercials and appearing as a featured extra
as a football player in "Forest Gump" and a paramedic on
"ER". John relocated to Seattle to focus on screenwriting,
independent filmmaking and writing and performing music. His screenplays
include, "Rearview Mirror" and a horror story based on the songs of
Charlie Daniels entitled, "Full Moon". His first feature, "Where We All Start". Shot on
an ultra-low budget it made the penultimate round at The Austin Film Festival. His short film, Talking Dogs" recently premiered at New Filmmakers New York.
